What: "Darby Creek Day"

When: October 7 (first Sunday in October)

1:00-4:00 p.m.

Where: Indian Ridge section of Battelle-Darby Metro Park

Who: Open to the public

Come join us in a day to celebrate and explore central Ohio's natural jewel-Big Darby Creek.

Exhibitors will include: DCA, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Ohio State University, local schools, the Sierra Club, the Smallmouth Bass Alliance, and others.

Activities will include: Electro-shocking for fish, noodling for mussels, hiking, canoeing, fly-fishing demonstrations, and spear throwing with replicas of Native American atlatls.
